A Life Launch Community
Young Adult Development: job placement, preparation, finance and life-skills training
Young Adult Investment: rent will be required, based on percentage of income
Young Adult Expectation: full-time employment or college/trade school attendance plus part-time employment
On-site counseling, transportation, mentoring & connection to local resources.
Serve young adults ages 18–23.
Garden and therapy animals to care for on the property.
Set on 10–20 acres, the Ranch centers on a main lodge that houses Fostering Connections' offices, a teaching kitchen, a game and living room, a conference room, and a storm shelter. Surrounding it are 5–10 tiny/micro homes — one young adult per home, each with its own bed, bath, and tiny kitchen. A barn, garden, and therapy animals round out a true community designed to launch young adults into independent, self-sustaining adulthood. We anticipate serving 5–10 young adults in the first year, growing over time.

Exhibit a positive and willing attitude. Be willing to participate in activities such as Teen Impact Events and partnerships with their Anchor Family through our Anchor Family program.
Exhibit a desire for a healthy well-being. Mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically we will encourage growth in each area.
Display a winning mindset. A winner's mindset doesn't let the past define you, but focuses on future vision and goals.
Work produces worth. Working part-time and attending college or trade school, or working full-time, is a key piece of this program.
Self-fulfillment is often found through service. Service to others is a key component of this program. Volunteering and giving of their time and resources produces strong character. Participants will participate in monthly volunteer activities.
