We are a 501c3 non-profit organization based in southeast Kansas with a mission to positively impact foster/adoptive families and children in our community. Grounded in the teachings of James 1:27, which calls on Christians to support orphans, Fostering Connections was established to offer faith-based support and resources to both foster and adoptive families. Our goal is to connect the community and local churches to bless children in foster care through training and events that benefit both the child and the foster family.
As a volunteer-driven non-profit organization, we offer a wide range of opportunities to help support foster families. We believe that everyone has a role to play in helping children in need.
Fostering Connections is dedicated to supporting foster and adoptive families in Southeast Kansas through a wide range of programs. Our initiatives range from providing adult interaction and support through Moms’ Coffees and Foster Parent Retreats, to creating memorable experiences for the whole family with our Free Family Fun Events. Your support of these programs makes a huge difference in the life of a foster/adoptive family.
By working closely with community partners, churches, and volunteers, our Board and Leadership team help create opportunities for meaningful connection, support, and growth for foster/adoptive families. They believe that every child deserves a loving and supportive family, and they are committed to making that a reality.
