Caring Closet

Providing Clothes to Children in Need

We are excited to partner together with Pitt Naz Church to offer a clothing closet for foster, adoptive, respite, and police protective custody families. This is  intended for short term, 3-5 days, to help  with a child’s (or children’s) needs until the foster family is able to get a longer-term supply of clothes for the child.

We know how tough it can be when a parent receives a new placement and immediately they have to go and buy everything new, because oftentimes the child comes with nothing.

This closet is open by appointment by texting or calling 620-704-4736 or emailing fosteringconnectionsks@gmail.com. Our goal is to be stocked with diapers, bottles, sippy cups, some formulas, backpacks, basic baby necessities, basic hygiene items, and a small variety of each size and gender of clothes appropriate to the season.

The Foster Closet in Columbus is available as well. Their address is 206 S. Indiana, Columbus, KS. They are open every Monday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. or by appointment.

If you would like to provide a clothing gift card for a child in need, you may mail it to Fostering Connections, P.O. Box 1011, Frontenac, KS 66763
