As we step into February, a month often filled with love and connection, we are reminded of the incredible impact that our community has on the lives of children and families. This month, we celebrate the bonds we’ve built, the resilience of those we serve, and the ongoing journey to create brighter futures! Together, we’re making a difference, one connection at a time.
In January, we were able to partner with LifeTrack Christian Church to host a Moms’ Event.
While kids were taken care of, Moms had a two hour break where they could enjoy a manicure or pedicure at a local nail salon! The kids had lots of fun making crafts and playing games with the volunteers.
We also had a Free, Fun, Family event at the bowling alley where foster and adoptive families got to bowl for free! We believe these Free, Fun, Family events allow families to build and strengthen bonds between parents and adoptive, foster and biological children. Great memories were created!
Thank you to First Christian Church in Pittsburg who collected pajamas recently for our VIP Kids bags!
